"Twice the Gift"

The local TV news featured a story on our surrogacy journey. It was the headline story tonight called Twice the Gift. I think they did a nice job for a short news piece. It's so cute that at only 5 days our boys are already celebrities! :)

I think this is absolutely wonderful. I think for K to experience all of the "aches and pains" of pregnancy and delivery, and then not have a baby to take home, is the most unselfish thing I have ever witnessed. I truly hope that didn't come out wrong, because I mean it in the best possible way. I have so much respect for both you and K. Niki your boys are beautiful, and I think they look so much like you. Are they identical? Because in the very first pic you posted of them, I think they look exactly alike! Congratulations!

That was very well done and tell K I think she is beautiful - inside and out.

So glad K is doing well, and that the boys will be able to come home soon!
You should be getting a little package for the boys in the next few days :).
Much love to you, K, Josh, and the boys!

Thanks so much for sharing, I have sent the link to Mr.Duck so he can show his parents this weekend when he does the big reveal (Having a nice surrogacy story to read will help!).

Hi Niki...I have never commented but have been following your blog for quite some time. I am so happy for you! Your boys are too adorable for words.

I also just realized that you are in the same area as I am and wanted to invite you to join a mulitples club that has been started in the area. I know that you are probably way too busy for that now but in the future it may be nice to have some other twin mamas to share with. The group isn't very active yet but hopefully when summer comes around we will be doing more.

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with your boys! Cherish every moment it goes by so fast!

Not many babies make the news at such a young age!! And what a nice news story - a real warm fuzzies piece :) The boys are looking gorgeous. I hope K's recovering nicely too.

I hope you don't mind, but I had to repost it on my blog because it is such a wonderful wonderful story and I want to share the joy and bring awareness to surrogacy as an option. Your story is inspiring..and although I wish you never had to go through the trials and tribulations and loss of Myles, I love that you soldiered on to reach your rainbow.
